Bull Shoals earned his first career victory at Del Mar, breaking his maiden in a Maiden Special Weight.
After three runner-up finishes in his first four starts, Bull Shoals went off as the heavy favorite and delivered. He took command in the stretch and pulled away to win by 3¼ lengths, covering the 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.73.
A rewarding first trip to the winner’s circle for Bull Shoals and Bushman Thoroughbreds.
